• For a list of optional topics, go to Gale's Global Issues in Context , and click on Browse Issues and Topics. Then, click on the Regions tab to browse by region.

To find information, use:

• Books: conduct a subject or keyword search in the Catalog tab of Destiny.
• Use Gale's Global Issues in Context.
• Use Proquest Onlinefor current magazine, newspaper, and scholarly journal articles.
• Use ABC-Clio. Try the World Geography or Issues modules.

To access online databases from home:

• 1. Go to https://destiny.vbcps.com.
• 2. Log in with your usual school username and password.
• 3. Under High School Libraries, click on First Colonial High School.
• 4. On the right, you’ll find links to the databases with usernames and passwords.

To locate media:

• To locate copyrght-friendly images, use Creative Commons to search instead of Google Images.
• To locate a video, try Discovery Education Streaming or NBC Learn, two video databases. Login info available - ask a librarian.

To cite your sources:

• Online Digital Image:
